Daar is a personal search for home, not as a place, but as a feeling scattered across countries, languages, and memories. Born to a Moroccan father and a Bosnian mother, and raised in Italy before moving to Norway, I’ve always lived between worlds.

This work traces the quiet distance between here and there, capturing small moments in Casablanca and Norway that speak to belonging, absence, and memory.

I hadn’t been back in eight years, but in a gesture, a voice, or the smell of food, I still feel traces of Daar, of home.
