Barâye Irân / For Iran

In this project I look at how the conflict in Iran Is also leaving its mark in Norway. the pictures were taken during a demonstration in oslo, where people gathered to show support, grief and resistance from a distance. 

these pictures are the start of a longer project that follows how the situation develops, and how people in Norway with connections to Iran carry with them unrest, powerlessness and hope. 

I am interested in how a homeland can be physically far away, but still be strongly present trough flags, images, shouts and silence.
